I recently put together an intro to photo curriculum for a friend who has been begging me to teach her about photography. I assigned reading from Horenstein's text Digital Photography (which this workbook is keyed to), and then I had her complete the worksheets for each chapter to test her understanding of the information.The thing I liked most about the worksheets is they didn't just ask her to regurgitate techy photo stuff. Instead, the workbook seemed to focus more on testing her understanding of photography.
A lot of the questions start off like-
"Describe a situation where you might want to.."
"What would happen if.."
"Why does <this> happen when you set the camera to <that>"
This tests not only her understanding of the material, but also how to translate all the techy photo stuff into actually making photographs. And isn't that the ultimate goal.

This is a workbook which consists of 233 questions the answer to which covers essential information to improves ones photography. It is keyed to a book calle Digital Photograpy; a Basic Manual by Henry Horenstein . If the answers are not known they can probably be found in other Digital Photography Books. If I had known this I would not have wasted my money.
